Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection is known as a cause of acute mesenteric lymphadenitis in children. Recently, it is paid attention to as an important cause of acute renal failure in children. There have been several reports of Y.
pseudotuberculosis
infection, diagnosed by serological test, complicated by acute renal failure. However, microbiologically proven Y. pseudotuberculosis infection with acute renal failure has not been reported in Korea. We have experienced a case of acute renal
failure
caused by Y. pseudotuberculosis infection proven by stool culture and report this case with review of the previous reports.
